The Fourth of July Concert Series resumes Friday night with
Crushed Velvet is a hard-rockin' band that plays "all the music your parents told you not to listen to you." The band, which covers such artists as Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Black Sabbath and Jimi Handrix, takes the stage at 6:30 p.m. Friday.
Detroit Breakdown "is a high energy Band playing music specifically tailored to keep the audience on the dance floor." The five-man band takes the Independence Park stage at 7:45 p.m.
