Dr. J.K. Stewart Kirkaldy: Memorial service is Saturday
A memorial service for Dr. J.K. Stewart Kirkaldy, 86, in the manner of Friends, will be held on Saturday, July 25, at 2 p.m., at the Westport Friends Meetinghouse, 938 Main Road, Westport. Dr. Kirkaldy passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2015.
Dr. Kirkaldy practiced medicine for 45 years in Westport before retiring to Vermont in 2005. Stewart was a beloved member and Recorded Minister of the Westport Monthly Meeting of Friends for many decades with a demonstrated commitment to peace and social justice issues locally and beyond.
