Delia M. (Gagne) Thomas, 96, Westport

Delia M. (Gagne) Thomas, 96, of Westport, died Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at Charlton Memorial Hospital.  She was the wife of the late Gerald L. Thomas, Sr.  Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Alexis and Rose (Cote') Gagne.  Mrs. Thomas was a communicant of St. George Church, Westport.  She was an avid knitter.

Survivors include four sons, Robert P. Thomas of Westford, Mass., Gerald L. Thomas, Jr. of Salinas, Calif., Russell W. Thomas of New Bedford and Michael J. Thomas of Maine; three daughters, Darleen J. Cink of Kerens, Tex., Sheila A. Kenyon of Westport and Linda M. Trahan of Westport; a brother, Alfred Gagne of New Jersey; two sisters, Blanche Sampson of Fall River and Annette Ferland of Connecticut; 15 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was the grandmother of the late Wendy Kenyon, sister of the late Leo, Roland, Albert and Raymond Gagne and mother-in-law of the late Thomas Kenyon.

Arrangements were held under the direction of the Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Road, Westport.
