With the vote recount finished, Steven Contente will officially be Bristol’s new town administrator when he is sworn in along with other town officials Monday night.

Outgoing Town Councilman Halsey Herreshoff, who chose not to run for another term after decades in public office, will serve as master of ceremonies for the Bristol inauguration of public officials Monday, Dec. 5 at 6 p.m. at Colt School auditorium on Hope Street. The Bristol Police Color Guard will present the colors at the ceremony.

RI Superior Court Associate Justice Walter Stone will issue the oath of office to Mr. Contente, along with Town Clerk Louis Cirillo, and Town Council members Nathan Calouoro, Timothy Sweeney, Edward Stuart, Mary Parella and Andrew Tyska.

Each official will have the chance to address the crowd, and refreshments will be available for the public in the lobby.
