Bristol arrests: Rape, robbery, assault, ‘air traffic rules’

The Bristol Police Department made the following arrests this week:

Raymond O. Correia, 33, of 418 Metacom Ave., Bristol, was charged with a slew of violent offenses including first degree robbery, first degree sexual assault, simple assault, assault with intent to commit a felony, use of a firearm while committing a crime of violence, possession of a firearm by a convict and procurement of sexual conduct for a fee. He was arrested in Providence and brought back to Bristol to face the charges. Click here for more details.

John Silvia, 64, of 50 Randall St., Providence, was arrested on a 6th District Court bench warrant for failure to appear in court on a previous charge of driving without a license.

Andrew Jackson, 18, of 7105 Pipers Run Place, North Las Vegas, NV, was charged with violating air traffic rules and disorderly conduct.

David Joaquin, 33, of 9 West St. Apt. 4, Bristol, was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and assault after police were called to the West Street home for reports of loud music around 3 a.m.

Michael O’Connor, 20, of 45 Oxbow Road, Canton, Mass., was charged with video voyeurism. 

Julio D. Diaz Liberate, 20, of State Street, Bristol, was charged with domestic assault and domestic disorderly conduct.

Bruce L. McDougall, 48, of 473 Old Fall over Ave., Apt. 14, Swansea, was arrested on a warrant.

Noel P. Crone, 24, of 73 Simmons St., Providence, was charged with prohibited weapons other than firearms on Wood Street. Police had been called to the area for a harassment complaint.

Rafael P. Leal, 39, of 38 Thelma Road, Apt. 1, Boston, was charged with eight counts of third degree sexual assault - statutory rape, and three counts of disorderly conduct - indecent exposure. Police arrested Mr. Leal at the Town Beach on Asylum Road. Click here for more details.
