Bristol arrests: Heroin delivery, domestic assault, DUI

The Bristol Police Department made the following arrests this week:

Emanuel Tavares, 32, of 216 Franklin St., Apt. 1, Bristol, was charged with domestic breaking and entering, and violating a no contact order.

Joseph W. Arruda, 26, of 22 Lincoln Ave., Apt. 3, Bristol, was charged with fraudulent use of a credit card at Stop & Shop on Metacom Avenue at 8 a.m.

Brittany K. Booher, 24, of 26 Shaw’s Lane, Apt. 2F, Bristol, was charged with driving with a suspended license after she was involved in an accident on Metacom Avenue at 8 p.m. One person was brought to Newport Hospital with unspecified injuries.

Roy A. McMahan, 51, of 32 Hope St., Warren, was charged with delivery of heroin, a felony, at Narrows Point around 11:30 a.m. He was allegedly delivering the drug to James T. Dunlop, 58, of 3663 Pawtucket Ave., East Providence. See the story at right for more information on the Police Department’s undercover operation.

Kristin O. Trexler, 45, of 332 State St., Apr. 1, Bristol, was arrested on a Superior Court bench warrant for failure to appear in court for a restitution hearing on a previous charge.

Nichole Anna Wilson, 32, of Oliver Street in Bristol, was charged with domestic assault, domestic vandalism and domestic disorderly conduct after police responded to complaints of a disturbance at a home on the street just before 7:30 p.m.

Jonathan E. Rawson, 35, of 30 Davis St., Apt. E, Warren, was charged with obtaining money under false pretenses.

William J. Reid Bermudez, 24, of 49 Woodlawn Ave., Bristol, was charged with driving under the influence and refusal to submit to a chemical test. He was arrested on the RWU North campus off Metacom Avenue at 3:40 a.m.
