Bristol arrests: Domestic abuse, DUI, elderly assault

The Bristol Police Department made the following arrests last week:

Caley Nessar, 27, of 43 School House Road, Warren, was charged with driving under the influence and refusal to submit to a chemical test after being pulled over on Metacom Avenue around 2 a.m. June 14.

Jamie A. Raposa, 42, of 17 Catherine St., Bristol, was charged with violating a no contact order.

Elijah James C. Jacobson, 19, of 12 Campbell St., Warren, was charged with felony domestic assault and domestic disorderly conduct stemming from a fight at a home on Ryan Avenue Jan. 11. Mr. Jacobson allegedly swung a metal pipe several times at his uncle, reportedly trying to hit him in the head. His uncle, Adam Jacobson, 35, of 20 Bellevue Ave., Providence, responded by allegedly throwing a knife at the younger man, reportedly cutting him on the hip. Adam Jacobson was charged that night with felony domestic assault. Elijah Jacobson was charged when he turned himself in on a warrant at Police Department headquarters June 14.

Javier R. Medina, 18, of 22 Ponagansett St., Providence, was charged with driving with a suspended license on June 15.

Leonilde Medeiros, 59, of 7 Eddy Drive, Westport, Mass., was charged with four counts of assault on a person over 60 causing bodily harm, felony charges, on June 16.

Eric A. Pires, 24, of 725 Metacom Ave., Bristol, was charged with domestic simple assault after police responded to a fight between a father and son just before 1 a.m. June 17.

Brian L. Allen, 21, of 16 Catherine St., Bristol, was charged with first degree child molestation.

Emily M. Billett, 23, of 46 First St., Apt. 1, Bristol, was arrested on a 2nd District Court bench warrant for failure to appear in court for an original charge of driving with a suspended license.

Joseph Almeida, 32, of 152 Columbia St., Fall River, Mass., was arrested on a 6th District Court bench warrant for failure to appear in court on an original charge of shoplifting.

Emily J. Bailey, 64, of 4 Barden Lane, Warren, was charged with domestic simple assault on June 18.

James R. Wilson III, 25, of 56 Leahy Drive, Bristol, was charged with driving under the influence and refusal to submit to a chemical test. He was allegedly speeding and driving recklessly on Hope Street when he was pulled over at Terrace Drive at 3:30 a.m. June 18.

Megan E. Dulong, 21, of 24 Dean St., Dartmouth, Mass., was cited for violating the town ordinance prohibiting urinating in public on June 19.

Fernanda Almeida, 64, of 18 Wilson St., Apt. 2, Bristol, was charged with misdemeanor shoplifting at Stop & Shop on Metacom Avenue just before 3 p.m. June 19. Police noted she is a habitual offender, having been arrested more than 10 times dating back to 1990. Most arrests are for shoplifting or larceny.

Daniel M. Allen, 34, of 11 Old Providence Road, Apt. 1, Rehoboth, Mass., was charged with driving with a suspended license.

Joseph Edward Medeiros, 58, of 774 Metacom Ave., Bristol, was charged with disorderly conduct after police were called to a fight in progress at the PIC Club on Wood Street just after 8 p.m. June 19.
