The Barrington High School softball team went 2-1 last week, defeating Narragansett and South Kingstown, and losing to Mt. Hope.

On Wednesday, April 20, the Eagles rolled over Narragansett 12-2 in a mercy-rule shortened game. Eagles' pitcher Paige Concannon allowed just two runs on four hits while Lauren Grove had two hits and drove in a pair of runs.

On Thursday, Barrington allowed two runs in the first inning against the undefeated Huskies and dropped a tough 3-2 decision. Grove pitched a complete game and gave up six hits, but an unearned run in the top of the sixth inning proved to be the difference.

Katrina Kelley drove in one run and scored another for the Eagles.
