Two more victims dealing with damage

Police in Barrington are on the look-out for a BB gun bandit, after two more people were victimized by well-aimed BBs last week.

On Wednesday, Sept. 21, an official from the East Bay Mental Health Center contacted police after discovering damage to two windows at the center. It appeared someone had shot a BB through the windows, causing upwards of $1,000 in damages. The official said each window is valued at $500.

On Saturday, Sept. 24, a Walnut Road resident contacted police to report a similar incident. The resident said someone had shot three BBs into the rear of her car while the vehicle was parked in the driveway. The BBs left three dents.

These two recent incidents follow a similar situation on Vermont Avenue earlier this month, where a resident's truck was damaged by BBs.
