Tiverton girls beat Bishop Connolly

TIVERTON — The Tiverton  girls basketball team beat a young Bishop Connolly team 44-12 Tuesday, pushing Tiverton to 2-1 so far this season.

Sam Sando had a great night for Tiverton with 17 pts with Regan Burke providing a great second half spark and contributing 8 pts. Tiverton’s next match-up is their first league contest this Thursday @ home vs. Central Falls.

The scorers and stats for Tiverton were:
Bergandy, Olivia: 2 pts, 2 assists, 2 rebounds
Caldwell, Mariah: 4 pts, 4 rebounds
Wilson, Jackie: 4 pts, 1 rebound
Sando, Sam: 17 pts, 1 assist, 2 rebounds
Higgenbottom, Haley: 4 pts, 4 assists, 3 rebounds
Burke, Regan: 8 pts, 2 rebounds
Masse, Emily: 5 pts
