Sakonnet riders score in Rhode Island Equitation

PORTSMOUTH —  Nora Harris Equestrian entered a field of more than 120 riders in the Rhode Island Equitation Championships.  Qualifying for the finals were Molly Little of Tiverton, Celia Rapp of Little Compton, and Lauren Woods of Portsmouth.

Molly Little won the tenth place ribbon in the Rhode Island Mini-Medal Final riding Whisper Low, owned by Nora Harris, in a field of more than 30 finalists.  Celia Rapp, riding Semi-Formal, owned by Amy Sousa, finished eleventh.

Molly Little also took the first place medal in the Horsemanship Challenge.  The Horsemanship Challenge is a combination score of the Mini-Medal Classic over fences and a written test. Lauren Woods placed third.
