Portsmouth Middle School wins state hoops title

pms hoops champsThe Portsmouth Middle School boys basketball team defeated number one seed Ferri Middle School by a score of 72-61 to win the state championship last week. High scorers for the game included eighth graders Cole Swider with 25 points and Chris Herren with 20 points. Fellow eighth graders Zack Rahilly, Matt Clark and Jack Page worked hard, out-rebounding the other team. Seventh grade point guard James Reilly had a solid game on both the defensive and offensive ends.
