North Kingstown skates past Mt. Hope hockey team, 8-4

Mt. Hope High School hockey team captain Justin Correia scored all four goals in the Huskies’ 8-4 loss to North Kingstown on Saturday, Dec. 15, at St. George’s ice rink in Newport.

Correira scored two of his goals on power plays. Jacob Abernante assisted on two of Correia’s scores, while Nick Anania, Trevor Sousa and Zach Minior each had single assists.

Mt. Hope returns to the ice on Saturday night, as they face off against Rogers High School. The game will be played at St. George’s ice rink at 6 p.m.
