“We’re trying to take it one game at a time,” Mr. Keegan said. “This is the half-way point.”
As the Huskies continue to knock off their challengers, Mr. Keegan uses the wins to boost the girls’ confidence, while encouraging them to remain focused on each game.
“We’ll be facing the same seven teams and hoping for the same outcome,” he said.
On Tuesday, Sept. 25, Mt. Hope will travel to Pawtucket’s Slater Park where they will face Tolman High School. In their last match-up. Mt. Hope defeated the Tigers 6-1. Tolman will go into Tuesday’s game with a record of 3-3, ranked fifth out of eight teams in Division 3 East.
