‘Duncan’ wins horse of year award

Kayla Whittier of the Team Riders 4-H Club and her horse, Duncan, received the award for Rhode Island 4-H Horse of the Year. This award was presented based on an essay written by Kayla explaining why her horse should be named Horse of the Year. As part of the award, Kayla was presented a hand-painted replica of Duncan courtesy of The Peter Stone Company, Shipshewana, Indiana.
