Players (and young fan Colin Pickering) pose at the end of the 29th annual Barrington High School alumni soccer game.

A small group of 15 Barrington High School graduates played in the 29th annual soccer alumni game on a chilly, windy Saturday afternoon. A year ago, about twice that many showed up for the game always held the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

Despite the thin field of players, they represented four proud decades of Barrington High School soccer. The veteran players included Jay Primiano (a former player and coach) and Doug Johnson, who are 1970s graduates; Scott Douglas, Scott Pickering and Lyle Richardson, who all graduated in the 1980s; and Kurt Kovolyan, BJ Grattan and Mark Whittaker, from the 1990s.

The game ended with a 5-3 victory for the blue team.
