The Townies open their preseason with a win over Tiverton
TIVERTON — The East Providence High School boys' basketball team opened up its 2017-18 non-league schedule Thursday evening, Dec. 7, with a 62-47 victory over host Tiverton.
Deyshawn Tengbeh led the Townies with 14 points, 11 rebounds and seven steals. He also added three assists and two blocked shots. Myels Nuey netted a team-best 18 points for EPHS while Dion Hazard added 16.
