EAST PROVIDENCE — Waterfront Productions announced at 4:45 p.m. today the Pat Benatar-Neil Giraldo concert scheduled for this evening, September 22, at Bold Point Park has been cancelled due to concerns over high winds.

David Hughes, of Dodge Associates, Inc. which handles public relations for Waterfront LLC, said the promoters and talent had reservations about putting on the show due to continued rain and the threat of wind gusts, the lingering remnants of Hurricane Jose.

Mr. Hughes said more details on the situation were forthcoming.
