East Providence Police announce arrest in Bridgham murder case

No suspect named, will be charged in district court January 23

EAST PROVIDENCE — Through a press release issued Monday evening, Jan. 22, the East Providence Police Department announced the arrest of a suspect in the murder of Dr. Clive Bridgham.

Dr. Bridgham was found dead in his home Thursday evening, Jan. 11. Since, the police have released little information regarding the case except to announce the following day it was a homicide investigation.

The arrest took place at approximately 4:30 p.m. on January 22. The suspect, who is not being identified, will be arraigned in Sixth District Court in Providence Tuesday morning, Jan. 23.
