Jamiels was a great store and it was sad to see such a long standing institution leave Warren. This seems to be best case senario to have another shoe store back. In my opinion it would make more of an impact on the new business to restore the facade of the building. The store doesn't look any different on the outside. The glass could be uncovered on the south corner and would bring attention to the new owners. This is a big mistake on the building owners/business people here in town. Warren has so much to work with in terms of the historic character and its walkability. The town has a historic tax credit program and I believe there maybe some matching grant money for restoration. IT'S GOOD MARKETING!
