With all due respect, it is apparent you do not understand the issue.

There will always be a need for less expensive something - food, gas, good running car, clothing, utilities, a roof over ones head.

The issue on affordable housing is that it has been hijacked by developers, lawyers, and their friends to exploit the taxpayer and a bucket of money from HUD. It is neither efficient, nor fair.

When the self dealing is purged from this system, maybe then it will provide decent housing and truly integrate families into the community.
