Wow, I can't believe that once again I am in agreement with Joe Sousa! Did I change or has he, lol. This is absolutely ridiculous. If only the small businesses in this state could afford some kind of strike and close their doors for a week. I bet these lawmakers would change things then. MA had this problem with their border with NH and remedied it by removing the sales tax. RI needs to follow suit and fast. It's border with MA and CT is far longer and more populated. These small businesses are getting slammed with this policy. I live in Bristol and will drive the 6-7 miles up the road just to save the tax when I need to buy stuff that is not taxed. It costs less for the gas to drive that far than it does to pay the tax. Thats insane.
