Well well, something I can agree with you on. This is a case that cries out for the death penalty. With this guy's history and the fact that this was definitely premeditated and numerous eyewitnesses, there is absolutely no doubt he did this. Why should the taxpayers of this state, which includes even you Joe, now have to foot the bill for taking care of him for the next 30-40 years. This guy should do the right thing, save the state the aggravation and hang himself somehow. But, he's a proven coward and won't do that, so now we'll have to pay for him for the rest of his life. I don't see the justice in that.
