Im with joe burns on this one. I have no clue what he did in the past and im in no way sticking up for ric . I met ric in middle school and he was always just the funny janitor . I am now 19 and for the past year or so a few friends of mine and myself have been in contact with ric . He takes us to lunch , gives us rides to and from work , gives advice when needed . And in return never asked for a thing . In no way has he ever crossed any boundaries with us. Jack was also my highschool basketball coach and once again no boundaries were crossed . No one knows all the facts but ii will hope for the best.

Jim McGaw

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
