This is also a Quality Of Life issue. If we have to find more money to rebuild and keep our current water line up to date to receive the water from the reservoir, then let's get creative. The water in Pawtucket is not desirable. I also worked there and was always surprised at the difference between our water here in EP and there in Pawt. How do Bristol and Barrington residents feel about this? I know they would be able to access the system from Pawtucket. Have they been enthusiastic about it? Have they already firmly decided to share in the cost of the project? Or is it still in debate. It seems that it would change our cost of the project if they do not agree to take part.

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986.
