Rhode Island Realtor associations have joined together to host the second annual Home Run 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, Aug. 26, to benefit Habitat for Humanity. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Quonset ‘O’ Club in North Kingstown, followed by the walk/run at 10 a.m. A barbecue brunch and award ceremony follows.
The 3.1-mile race will be timed and scored by Organization Plus Road Race Management Services and measured by Ray Nelson.
A $20 registration fee covers race participation and refreshments and brunch following the race. Register online at https://www.homerunri.com. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
