Looking for an investment? Try coastal Rhode Island real estate

AgentPhoto4332Rhode Island’s coastline is our state’s finest asset — it’s vast, interesting, and beautiful. Not only do we offer miles of ocean beaches, our bays and rivers offer so many opportunities to enjoy coastal living. That said, Rhode Island’s coastal real estate is the best buy around, bringing long-term value and enjoyment for generations.

Prices are still below the 2007 peak, and are not nearly at the levels of neighboring areas like the Hamptons, Cape Cod, Nantucket or Martha’s Vineyard. Combined with currently low interest rates, buying coastal real estate now can guarantee you years of enjoyment or a great source rental income.

Weekly summer rents can range from upwards of $2,000 per week, depending on the property. This great source of income and long term investment is a wonderful way to enjoy and grow your assets.

Summers in RI are the best around.
Our beaches are beautiful. Our shoreline, reaching from Little Compton to Watch Hill, with Newport and Narragansett in between, are the best places for relaxation and family time. Ocean beaches such as South Shore Beach in Little Compton, Sachuest Beach in Middletown, and Scarborough Beach in Narragansett, are clean and gorgeous — the best part of Rhode Island.

Sailing, kayaking, paddleboarding
Enjoy Narragansett Bay on a sailboat or kayak. Or take a stand up paddleboard out for a spin. Simple to learn, fun, and a great workout, paddleboarding may soon become one of the highlights of your summer.

Magnificent courses
The Rhode Island Country Club, Carnegie Abbey Club, Sakonnet County Club, Pt. Judith Country Club, and Misquamicut offer dramatic coastal views to enjoy when on the links.

Epicurean delight
After a long day on the beach, links or sea, our coastal farms offer some of the best fresh vegetables for your table or one of your favorite restaurants. Fresh tomatoes cultivated from a coastal farm are simply out of this world. Don’t forget our oyster farms and seafood from our waters.

Our restaurants
Take in the ocean-infused night air along with a fabulous restaurant meal. The Stone House Club in Little Compton, Newport’s Castle Hill Inn, and the Ocean House in Watch HIll are among my favorites.

From the Atlantic Ocean on up to the head of Narragansett Bay, Rhode Island’s coastline is a true treasure. Whether you are in the market for a rental property, something you would like to use yourself, or a combination of the two, take advantage of the low interest rates and buy investment property on the coast.
