PORTSMOUTH — A Portsmouth man was arrested Tuesday, May 22, on charges of distributing fentanyl/oxycodone pills into the local community.
Gregory B. Dame, 29, of 149 Bristol Ferry Road, was charged with manufacturing, possessing and delivering a controlled substance following his arrest at home on a warrant around 8 a.m.
The arrest followed an investigation by the Portsmouth Police Detective Division, according to Detective Lt. Michael C. Arnold, who said fentanyl/oxycodone pills were seized as a result.
Mr. Dame was scheduled to be arraigned in 2nd District Court in Newport Tuesday on the drug delivery charge, Lt. Arnold said.
