Approve the animal shelter commission
To the editor:
There are many things on the topic of our animal shelter. But I want to make this letter short and simple with a simple message: I would first like to thank Mayor Joseph Larisa Jr. for working so hard toward the betterment of our animal shelter and to the welfare of our animals. To that end I would like to thank Councilwomen Perry for her support on those issues and for her support of the commission and encouragement of our city and residents to support our homeless animals. To that end I would like to ask Councilman Caine and City Manager Fazioli to step up and support this great cause. It is to the benefit of our animals to receive financial support for medical care, spay/neuter, educational and adoption programs and much more that a public commission could offer. It is even better still to the residents that the support comes with no cost to the tax payers. We have had enough issue with our shelter. The commission can only do good. I am asking you to put your stamp of approval on it. I'm sure you will be pleased with the outcome.
