Breeze Avenue man arrested on child pornography charges

EAST PROVIDENCE — A 57-year-old East Providence man was arrested by the state police on Wednesday for his alleged involvement with child pornography. Reports said John Littlefield of 39 Breeze Ave. was arrested at approximately 9:30 a.m. on charges of possession of child pornography and transmission of child pornography.

Reports said the state police investigated Mr. Littlefield, following a lead from the Missouri Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and after forensic analysis by the Computer Crimes Unit.

Mr. Littlefield was arraigned and his bail was set at $10,000 with surety.
