Is 'swimming pool hysteria' sweeping this town?

To the editor:

It seems like there is an epidemic of "swimming pool hysteria" in town.

Classic symptoms — "Honey, they have a pool and we don't," and "Let's call the building inspector to make sure all regulations were followed." These symptoms are also known as — "We have too much time on our hands."

And I thought these things only happened on Wisteria Lane, silly me.

I am hoping for a long, hot summer so Kelly, Steve and the children can enjoy their pool. A word of caution to Kelly and Steve — go slow on the barbecues — you might be accused of polluting the air.
