Roger R. La Pointe

Technician at Bristol Knitting Mills grew up in Westport

Roger R. LaPointe, 57, of Rodman Street in Fall River died Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2004, at home.

Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Raymond J. and Cecilia (Drewniak) La Pointe. He grew up in Westport and lived in Fall River for most of his life.

Mr. LaPointe was a security guard at Quaker Manufacturing Co. and Catholic Memorial Nursing Home. He was employed for many years as a knitting machine technician at Bristol Knitting Mills.

He leaves two sisters, Jacqueline Edvarsen of Seattle and Jean LaPointe of Fall River; a brother, Thomas LaPointe of Lakeville; a niece and a nephew.

Arrangements were by the Boyko Memorial Funeral Home in Fall River.
