PORTSMOUTH — Bailey Howell and Liam Casey were named the overall winners of Saturday’s Knights of Columbus-sponsored youth basketball free-throw contest in the Bradley School gymnasium.

The event, which was open to ages 9 to 14, was the local round of competition, with the winners — who each won a new basketball Saturday — advancing to the state championship. International champions are announced by the K of C international headquarters based on scores from the state-level competitions.
