Bates College senior forward Taylor Lough of Little Compton was named Second Team All-NESCAC for the second straight year on Wednesday, as the New England Small College Athletic Conference released its all-conference teams in field hockey.
Lough started all 15 games this season for Bates and led the Bobcats with nine goals. She also dished out a pair of assists, giving her a team-leading 20 points on the season. Lough finished tied with two other players for 13th in the conference in goals scored. For her efforts, Lough was recently selected to play in the NFHCA Division III Senior Game on November 17 in Manheim, Pennsylvania.
During her four years at Bates, Lough played in every single game. Beginning her sophomore year, she also started every contest for the Bobcats. Bates made the NESCAC tournament three straight years from 2015-17, the longest such run since the team made the ECAC tournament three straight years from 1998-2000. Lough finishes her career with 29 goals and 15 assists.
Before Bates, she attended Portsmouth Abbey School.
