To the editor:
Our mother, Carolyn Corbett, was involved in an car accident in Warren on December 19th.  We would like to thank all of the people who responded to the accident to assist her, especially Patrick Rimoshytus and Cathie Tattrie, who worked to free our mother from the car and cared for her on the way to the hospital.  Although she ultimately succumbed to her injuries, their heroic efforts allowed us to be with our mother when she passed, a gift for which we are incredibly grateful.  Mr. Rimoshytus, Ms. Tattrie, and all of the first responders who protect our communities do so selflessly, bravely, and with compassion.  We thank them for their service and wish them health and happiness in the new year.
