Thanks for making Walkabout wonderful
To the editor:
To all who helped make this year’s Warren Walkabout (Sunday, October 21st) another smashing success, thank you. With an expanded program of art, music, food, trolley rides, pedi cabs, and live entertainment (honk, honk), hoards of visitors enjoyed themselves all over town and beyond. All of these festivities would not be possible without the generous donations of volunteer time, money, and supplies.
The following individuals and businesses deserve special recognition for their continued support: Dave and Clark Westcott of 30 Cutler St., Navigant/Columbus Credit Union, East Bay Newspapers, Pattie and her crew at Blount Market, The Bay Magazine, Cathie Tattrie at Smith Funeral and Memorial Services, Silktone, all of the restaurants who participated in The Taste of Warren, Al Galinelli and the guys at the fire station, Zelia Zenko, Joe Farmer, the great folk duo Atwater-Donnelly, and artist William Schaff. Every year we strive to make the Walkabout bigger and better, and we welcome the participation and ideas of the entire community. Please join us and get involved; you can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Save the date for our next event, Warren Wonderland, December 7, a festive night of shopping, food, and community, plus the opportunity to win big and support local business!
Peace and Harmony this Holiday Season,
The board of Discover Warren
