To the editor:

What makes this bridge beautiful is threefold:

1) (It was) built by young people: Chase Little, Chris Norton, Aiden Jenkins and Jameson Harding.

2) The purpose of the bridge is to help people get to Glen Park safely over the creek.

3) This is a solid bridge. How do I know? My old man and I decided to check out this new bridge. As we drove down Glen Road, we spotted the bridge and my first thought was, “How cute.” We got out of our car and walked the path to the bridge. We stood there on the bridge and soon realized, this bridge is solid as a rock.

Thank you, guys. You should be proud of yourselves. Also, your families, I am sure, are full of pride. They know you young men are on the right track to life.

Great job!
