Flea market fire response greatly appreciated

To the editor:

On behalf of my family, I would like to thank the Tiverton Fire Department, as well as the surrounding towns, that responded to the fire at the Route 177 Flea Market on Wednesday, Jan. 29.

They went above and beyond the call of duty, in challenging conditions, to contain the fire and extinguish it quickly. We could never express how much their work means to us, and how thankful we are that they saved our flea market.

I would also like to thank our family and friends for the incredible outpouring of support we have received, the flea market vendors for their countless hours of volunteering, especially Billy Fisher, and our contractor, Mike Beaulieu of Mike‘s Home Improvement. We hope to be up and running in a couple of weeks.
