The Fall River Marine Museum invites you to the Lighting of the Titanic in its celebration of the Winter Solstice on Thursday, Dec. 20. It will also mark the turning point of the museum as it embarks on a new course to become a vibrant participant in Fall River’s rich history.

Sandy Dennis, the gift shop chairman, will chair the event. It will begin by turning on the newly installed lights on the model of the Titanic, followed by story telling, poetry, and a video with ballet. See Drew Furtado’s spectacular new poster of the Marine  Museum and the upgraded gift shop.

There will be music and refreshments, and a complimentary gift for children. Please join us at 6:30 p.m. Admission is free. We want to thank you for your support and to share our enthusiasm for the future. We’re located at 70 Water Street.
