Bolster: It was an honor to serve

To the editor:

It was an honor and a privilege to serve on the Warren Town Council, and I thank those who supported my campaign and my efforts as a councilman. Throughout my term, my aim was to treat people with respect, listen more than speak, introduce new objectives, and help solve serious problems facing Warren.

Regarding the notion that I represent only one part of Warren, my record speaks for itself. Over the years I have helped to save farms or forestland throughout Warren, build a bike path to connect pedestrians in east and west Warren and beyond, make Metacom Avenue safer and more attractive for business, write Warren’s first town-wide Comprehensive Plan, build Warren’s first community playground, and design the Warren Honor Roll, honoring Warren’s veterans over two centuries.

These achievements demonstrate that my efforts benefit Warren from north to south, east to west. I will continue to advocate for progressive economic development throughout Warren, while protecting our heritage and our natural resources. I look forward to working with all who want a bright future for our wonderful town.
