Amore acknowledges East Providence House voters, opponent Botelho

letter-head

To the editor,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the people of District 65 for entrusting me with the honor of representing their interests in the R.I. General Assembly for the next two years. I am grateful to the many people who allowed me into their homes, shared their ideas and asked such thoughtful questions. I learned a great deal as I walked the district and I will carry that information with me each day that I serve.

I would also like to thank my primary opponents, Jim Miller and Tim Chapman, and my general election opponent, Joe Botelho, for conducting positive, issues oriented campaigns. I admire their commitment to our community and I look forward to their counsel going forward.

I offer my heartfelt thanks to my family, friends, former students and supporters who worked so very hard on my behalf. I am humbled by your support and confidence and I will work hard each day to keep it.

I wish all the people of East Providence a Happy Thanksgiving and a safe holiday season. As 2013 approaches, I look forward to working on your behalf in order to make our city and state a better place to work and live. Please contact me at any time with your questions or concerns.
Gregg Amore
Representative-Elect
R.I. House of Representatives District 65
