Letter: Please return my American Flag

Letter: Please return my American Flag

To the editor:
This letter is directed to the person who stole my American Flag. You came onto my property and took the flag off the front of my house. Your senseless act happened under the cover of darkness, sometime on Thursday evening, Oct. 3, 2013. I appeal to you to clear your conscience and reflect on what you did that night, and do the right thing now, which is to return the flag. Just bring it back, leave it at the front door, and be on your way. It’s that simple.
That flag was given to me as a gift from my family during a recent Fourth of July family gathering. I have flown the American Flag with price because I know what it represents. It’s painful for me to know that my flag was stolen. I would like to offer you the opportunity to make things right, come to your senses, and return the flag.
It anyone witnessed the theft of my American Flag, or has knowledge of where the flag is now, please call the Bristol police and give them as much information as you can. Thank you.

  1. as we live in the most patriotic town in the USA, there are scumbags that find it amusing to steal our flags. I can see a terrorist wanting to do that dirty deed, but any American that does it should be public humiliated. The $ store sells flags for a 1.00 why steel something that has special meaning to us citizens. Mr Castro, I feel for you as I have been a victim too, I would rewire your pole with 440vlts for the next victim stealing the flag and he will get his star spangled banner to his grave. But then you will be the bad person.
