Dear Editor:

On behalf of the Commissioners of the Cemeteries of the Town of Bristol, we would once again like to thank President Farish and all the students of Roger Williams University who participated on Community Connection Day 2013 in painting the historic iron fence at the East Burial Ground on the corner of Wood Street and Mount Hope Avenue in Bristol. The efforts of the Roger Williams students have enhanced the beauty of our town, have contributed to its historic restoration and have saved the town thousands of dollars. We are very grateful to them and to the Roger Williams University Feinstein Center for Service Learning and Community Engagement for this very special program that benefits so many in our community.

Additionally, we would like to thank the women and men of Bristol Ace Hardware for their technical advice and enthusiastic support in the management of this project.

Thank you.

Rev. Charles Cavalconte

Chairman

Bristol Cemetery Commission
