Ralph N. Bennett, 74, of Middle Road, Portsmouth, died on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, at Newport Hospital. He was the former husband of the late Patricia Cabral and the husband of the late Janet Dube.
Born in Portsmouth on December 5, 1938, he was the son of the late Ralph and Louise (Perry) Bennett.
Mr. Bennett worked for Aquidneck Construction in Portsmouth, and Alegria Construction in Bristol before retiring.
He is survived by his children, Robin Bennett of Tiverton, Ralph C. Bennett of Somerset, Mass., and Jason Bennett of Fall River; his sister, Dora Marshall of Portsmouth; his brother, William E. Bennett of Portsmouth; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
His funeral services will be private.
