Peter A. Angelone, 87, Warren veteran

Obit pic Peter Angelone0061Peter A. Angelone, 87, of Canario Drive, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at home. Born in Barrington, a son of the late Pietro and Maria (Perrotta) Angelone, he was a clerk for the United States Postal Service. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth (Lombari) Angelone.
Mr. Angelone was a World War II veteran, serving in the UNited States Navy . He was a member of World War II PT Boat bases and tenders. He was an avid gardener.
He was the beloved father of Peter M. Angelone of North Kingstown, Alan D. (Deborah) Angelone of Bristol, and Carole A. James (Todd)  of Bristol; the brother of the late Victor, Domenic, and Amilio Angelone; Thomasina Sarn, Theresa Imondi, Matilda Protami, Pasquelina Grilli, and Marie D’Allesandro. He was the loving grandfather of Alison  Jilian and Gregory and Peter Angelone.
Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren. Funeral services were held Saturday, February 2 in St Alexander’s Church, Warren. Burial followed in St. Alexander’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations to VNA of Newport & Bristol Counties Hospice, 1184 East Main Road, Portsmouth, RI 02871.
