Mrs. Palmyra M. (Marshall) Cooper, age 95, of Wood Street, Bristol, died Sunday, April 7, 2013 at South County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, North Kingstown, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Harold A. Cooper. Born in Bristol and a lifelong resident, she was a daughter of the late Joseph M. and Marian (Drummond) Marshall. Palmyra worked in the packing department for the former PF Industries and the former Smith’s-Converse retiring in 1978.
She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church, Bristol. She is survived by two daughters, Nancy C. Dandro (Bill) of Narragansett and Sally A. Cooper of East Long Meadow, Mass. Besides her husband and parents she was preceded in death by four sisters, Marian M. Salvaggio, Mary M. Silvia, Josephine M. Sylvia, Rose Reynolds, seven brothers, Joseph, John, Anthony, Octave, Manuel, Charles and Frank Marshall and her beloved dog Sunny.
Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 9 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, 330 Wood Street, Bristol . Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol.
