Born in Fall River, son of the late Milton B. and Yvonne (Lavoie) Estes and step-son of the late Otelia Estes, he had lived in Tiverton for most of his life. Prior to retirement in 2000, he was a machine operator for the former Federal Products in Providence. Mr. Estes was a member of the First Baptist (Old Stone) Church, Tiverton where he served on various committees and he was on the Pleasant View Cemetery Board of Trustees.
Including his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Lori J. Buckley and her husband John of Tiverton, and Karen L. Daigle and her husband Henry of Warren; and four grandchildren, Elizabeth J. Buckley, John J. Buckley, Emily A. Cambrola and Hayley V. Cambrola.
His memorial service, to which relatives and friends are invited, will be Sunday, June 2, at the First Baptist (Old Stone) Church, Tiverton at 2 p.m.
Interment will be private.
