Martin C. Mulhall III, 77, of Boynton Beach, Fla., formerly of East Providence, passed away peacefully at JFK Medical Center in Atlantis, Fla., on Friday, Oct. 25, 2013.
He was the beloved husband of the late Violet (Duarte) Mulhall and of the late Frances (Rosenberg) Mulhall. Born in Ashland, Mass., he was the son of Martin C. Mulhall Jr. and Emma (Chaput) Mulhall. He is survived by his daughters, Christine Mulhall and Diane Mulhall, by his son, Michael Mulhall and his grandchildren.
Martin was a dedicated federal inspector for the USDA until his retirement. He was a Prior Exalted Ruler of the East Providence Elks (B.P.O.E. 2337). He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles (F.O.E. 3944), and the American Legion Post 0400. Martin served in the United States Army, and was a veteran of the Korean War.
Martin loved living in Florida, enjoying everyday of his retirement in the warmth and sunshine as he sat on his porch overlooking the palm trees. He will be dearly missed by friends and family.
A Memorial Service will be held for Martin on Saturday, Nov. 30, at 11 a.m. at the historic Swan Point Chapel at 585 Blackstone Blvd., Providence, R.I., 02906.
