RhodehamelLawrence “Larry” Rhodehamel, 85, of Portsmouth, husband of Lucille (Lecour) Rhodehamel, died Monday, July 8, 2013.

He was employed by Raytheon Company, Portsmouth, for 29 years and by Blue Wave Car Wash, Middletown. He was a member of Raytheon Employees Activities Assn. and a shop steward and district delegate of Local 587, International Assn. of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Union and a member of the Sons of the American Revolution. He was a train buff and enjoyed bowling, gardening and reading the Providence Journal.

Besides his wife of 57 years, he leaves two daughters, Deborah Albernaz and her husband Paul of Fall River, and Diane Rhodehamel of Narragansett; grandchildren, Christina Pereira (husband Christopher), Melissa Catanese (husband Richie) and Gabriella Albernaz; great-grandchildren, Abigail and Alexander Pereira and several nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Raymond L. and Roxie (Elliot) Rhodehamel, and the brother of the late Barbara Peterson and John Rhodehamel.

His funeral will be Saturday, July 13 from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral Mass in St. Bernadette Church, Eastern Ave., Fall River. Donations to Smile Train, PO Box 96231, Washington DC 20090, appreciated. Online guest book at AuclairFuneralHome.com.
