Jose B. Ramos, 62, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at Brigham & Womens Hospital.Born in Providence, a son of the late Jose and Alice (August) Ramos, he was the beloved husband of Karen A. (Correia) Ramos. He was a civil engineer and construction supervisor for JH Lynch & Sons.
He was the loving father of Bryan J. Ramos of Woburn, MA., Kathryn E. Travers of Dedham, MA., andJames T. Ramos and Sarah A. Covino, both of Warren; brother of Darleen Ramos Gottfried of Houston, Texas; and grandfather of Madisyn and Kendyl Travers.
Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, where family will receive friends Friday, Feb15, from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral services follow at 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16 from the funeral home, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St.Thomas the Apostle Church, 500 Metacom Ave. Interment will be private.
